Since 2000, my work has engaged with issues of climate change and sustainability. Over the past five years, however, this engagement has become significantly more focused and incisive, centring on the Earth, our relationship with it, and the need to involve the public more directly in addressing these urgent concerns.
In response, I have developed a series of interconnected works that bring these themes into sharper focus. Together, these pieces explore questions of human sustainability, our interdependence and interconnectedness, and the necessity of cooperation with the living and non-living systems that surround us—animal, vegetable, and mineral alike.
These works foreground the complex relationships that bind us to the wider ecological world, encouraging reflection on our responsibilities within it. They seek not only to raise awareness but also to foster a deeper sense of participation, collective agency, and shared stewardship.
These are the various works I have produced recently:
Healing the Earth London
Following the rhythm of the earth Viana do Castelo, Portugal
Earth Calling Płok, Poland
Humi Macedo de Cavaleiros, Portugal
Healing the earth, Healing ourselves Marvila, Lisbon, Portugal
